Anupama 10th September 2024 written update highlights

The episode begins with Anupama sharing that she found old flowers in the cupboard, washed them, and is using them again. Sagar notices everyone is busy working. Anupama happily states that their beloved Bappa is coming soon. Mahi talks to Ishu, saying Bappa will bring them a lot of joy. Anupama smiles, noticing how the children are speaking well and working hard. She jokes, asking if Baa gives them saffron milk for energy. Ishu replies that they love saffron milk. The kids remind Kinjal to come home soon or Toshu will get upset. Kinjal playfully says she’ll deal with anyone who dares to scold them.

Anupama asks Kinjal if something is bothering her. Kinjal admits she doesn’t enjoy arguments, but Toshu has left her no choice. Anupama wisely advises that every woman must know when to stay silent and when to speak up. Kinjal confidently declares that it’s time for her to stand her ground. Anupama agrees but reminds her that no one should ever cross boundaries. Kinjal lightens the moment with a joke. Baa arrives just then, bringing dry fruits for the Prasad, and Anupama thanks her for taking care of everything. Babu Ji commends Baa for her efforts. Meanwhile, Anuj watches Anupama with a smile, happy to see her in good spirits. Anupama lovingly removes the evil eye from her family and even from Anuj, acknowledging his presence.

Pakhi, on the other hand, complains about Toshu being annoying and how nobody listens to her. Aadhya approaches Pakhi, asking for the decorative Toran and inviting her to join them. Pakhi, still upset, declines and rudely says she doesn’t want any association with “beggars.” Aadhya points out that Pakhi is as arrogant as ever. Pakhi fires back, accusing Aadhya of forgetting her past behavior and advises her to take her father away from her mother, claiming they ruin lives. Aadhya calmly responds, saying she used to think that way, but now she believes her mother only makes lives better. Meenu arrives, and Aadhya asks her to fetch the Toran, leaving Pakhi behind. Meenu questions Pakhi, asking if she had said something to upset Aadhya. Pakhi shrugs, saying that no matter what they wear, their status won’t change. Meenu quietly replies that it’s good she noticed and walks away. Pakhi then contemplates telling Toshu about Meenu and Sagar.

As the festival unfolds, Anuj begins playing the drum, enthusiastically singing praises for Lord Ganesha. Baa and Babu Ji playfully warn Toshu not to ruin the festival, joking that if he does, he’ll get beaten harder than the drum. Anupama and Anuj happily dance together, joyfully welcoming Bappa. The aarti starts, led by Anupama and Anuj, followed by Baa, Babu Ji, and the rest of the family. During the ceremony, Toshu stares at a picture of Meenu and Sagar, feeling conflicted. For the first time, he believes Pakhi might have done something right.

Dolly arrives at the celebration, and Anupama is thrilled to see her, hugging her and expressing how long it’s been since they last met. Dolly smiles but quickly gets serious, questioning why Anupama seems set on ruining Meenu’s life. She accuses Anupama of seeking revenge on her brother, despite Meenu seeing Anupama as a mother figure. Dolly’s sharp words sting, and Anupama is left confused, asking what exactly Dolly means. Dolly, unwilling to cause a scene in front of Bappa, warns Anupama to stay out of her daughter’s life, stating that she will be the one to make decisions for Meenu.

Meenu tries to intervene, but Dolly firmly tells her to stay quiet. She then drags Meenu away from the gathering. Babu Ji, noticing Anupama’s teary eyes, gently asks if she’s okay. Anupama, still shaken by Dolly’s words, wonders aloud why she would say such things. Baa suggests it’s time to leave, but Babu Ji urges her to stay and take Prasad to complete the puja. He suspects that Toshu, Pakhi, or Vanraj might have influenced Dolly’s opinion and promises to talk to her later. Aadhya, too, is disappointed, as she had planned something special for Anupama and Anuj, but Dolly’s sudden outburst ruined the mood.

Dolly takes Meenu home, convinced she knows the whole story, but Meenu insists that what Dolly heard was exaggerated. Meenu is determined to return for Prasad, feeling that leaving now would make the puja incomplete.
Sagar, meanwhile, shares with Bala that he’s upset about how Meenu’s mother scolded Anupama when she wasn’t at fault. Bala advises him to hold off on saying anything for now, as Anupama is already feeling down. Anuj tries to comfort Anupama, reassuring her not to dwell on the incident. In an effort to lift her spirits, Anupama distributes chocolates to the children. When she offers one to Aadhya, the latter surprises her by saying she doesn’t want chocolates; instead, she wants Anuj and Anupama to get back together.

Aadhya expresses her feelings, saying that although their separation was partly because of her, she now realizes that they should reunite out of love, not just for her happiness. She tearfully admits her past mistakes and urges them to stop suffering because of her foolishness. She wants them to give their love another chance, explaining that Anuj isn’t the same without Anupama, and even Shru can’t take her place. She notes how Anuj used to hide his pain from her, unable to truly smile without Anupama by his side. Aadhya insists that their love story is far from over and that they should reunite, not just as parents, but as a couple once more.

Babu Ji chimes in, stating that parents always live for their children, but Aadhya argues that she wants to see them as a married couple again. She passionately declares that Anuj and Anupama are incomplete without each other and that they deserve to be together. Everyone in the room is moved by her words, smiling in agreement. Aadhya then presents them with small Radhakrishna lockets and asks them to make a promise of unity by exchanging them. She recalls how their three older children attended their wedding, but since she wasn’t there, she now wants to witness their union.

As the family cheers them on, Anupama and Anuj reflect on their shared memories. Babu Ji urges them to say something, leaving the ball in their court. Anuj tells Anupama that their daughter is right – it’s time for them to stop living apart. He acknowledges that their relationship has had its share of misunderstandings and challenges but pleads for another chance. He asks Anupama if she can forgive him and give their love another shot.

Anuj continues, promising on Aadhya’s name that if they reunite this time, he will never let their bond break again. He assures Anupama that he will remain by her side until the end. Seeing her hesitance, he reminds her that even Kanha Ji has brought them together for a reason. Now, with their daughter and the entire family supporting them, Anuj asks what’s holding her back.
