Bhagya Lakshmi 10th September 2024 written update: Balwinder’s Revernge Plan

The episode begins with Balwinder angrily expressing that he has caused the downfall of many girls, but Lakshmi is the one who ruined his life. He blames her for his current state in a mental asylum and vows to take revenge on both Lakshmi and her boyfriend, Rishi. Balwinder is furious and determined, declaring that he has forgotten his purpose for seven years but will now seek retribution against Lakshmi. He ominously states that Balwinder Sood is returning to her life soon and smashes his head against the wall. The guard, alarmed by his actions, tells him to stop.

Meanwhile, Ayush is with the kids, asking them what they are doing. Rishi joins them and explains that they are watching Ganapati Bappa, the Hindu deity. Paro wonders why they don’t have a large Ganapati idol. Rishi informs her that big idols are brought out during Ganesh Chaturthi. Ayush adds that they usually bring Ganapati Bappa home. Paro asks when they will bring him, and Rohan expresses his eagerness to have Bappa at their place. Rishi explains that there are many arrangements to be made before bringing the idol home. The kids insist they will help with the preparations. Rishi agrees to bring Bappa home. Lakshmi arrives and learns about the kids’ excitement for Ganapati. Rishi informs her of the kids’ wishes and she smiles.

At the hospital, the doctor scolds the guards for locking Balwinder in a dark room. She chastises them for their harsh treatment and orders them to move Balwinder back to his previous room. Aanchal, back at home, excitedly announces that Neelam wants Bappa to be placed on the singhasan (throne). Everyone is thrilled by this news. Karishma comments that it has been many years since Bappa last came home. Aanchal adds that with Paro now present, it’s time for Bappa to come. Lakshmi, watching Paro bond with the family, reflects on her own longing for family and asks Bappa to keep them all happy. Paro then calls Lakshmi over to eat something, and Rishi watches them with a smile.

Balwinder, still in the mental asylum, is plotting his escape. He decides to cut through the window’s iron bars and blend in with the Ganapati procession to reach Lakshmi. Balwinder is convinced that the police have been unable to catch him for seven years, and he is determined to make his escape.

Back at home, the kids are excited about bringing Ganapati Bappa home. Anushka mentions that girls shouldn’t go out for such tasks, but Dadi disagrees and says that Paro should go, though she needs to be careful. Lakshmi suggests that they should get the idol from their old idol maker, the one they used to buy from in the past. Rishi agrees with her suggestion. Aanchal and Karishma support this, saying the idol maker is the best. Paro insists on going to fetch Bappa despite the distance. They all have a meal together. Rishi and the kids are about to leave, and Lakshmi decides to say goodbye to them. Ayush announces that he will join them and return the next day, hinting at a surprise for Rishi and the kids. Dadi praises Lakshmi for helping Ayush become the cheerful and lively person he used to be. The guards at the asylum peek into Balwinder’s room and find him trying to escape. They catch him and beat him up before locking him back in the dark room. Balwinder vows that no one understands his resolve and that he will rise again to harm Rishi and Lakshmi.

Lakshmi goes to Neelam’s room, and as she picks up a fallen photo frame, she gazes at a picture of Virender with Neelam and Rishi, feeling emotional. She hears Neelam coming and quickly puts the frame back, leaving the room. Lakshmi regrets not speaking to Neelam about Virender and wonders if she should have. Rishi calls her, and she playfully asks if he’s missing her. Rishi confirms he is, but then he hands the phone to Paro and Rohan. Paro shows Lakshmi the Ganapati Bappa on video call. Rohan mentions that the idol’s face is covered but it’s beautiful. Lakshmi sees Rishi placing Bappa in the tempo and asks if he conveyed her greetings. Paro confirms that he did. Lakshmi inquires when they will return home, and the kids say they’ll come back the next day. Ayush suggests they can reach home either by leaving now or early the next morning. Lakshmi asks where they will stay, and Rishi replies that they will stay in a nearby hotel. Paro worries that it will be chaotic with Bappa being taken to the hotel. Lakshmi explains that it’s fine since Bappa will be brought to their house the next day. Paro and Rohan understand. Lakshmi tells them to come home soon and that she misses them. Rishi advises Lakshmi to take care of herself and Paro, who is not well. Rishi ends the call, and Lakshmi hopes that their happiness will last forever. She prays that nothing will go wrong and that Bappa will ensure everything is right.

Dadi searches for a novel and asks Lakshmi for help. Lakshmi finds it and reads the title, “First Love,” which makes her smile. Dadi explains that even at her age, she believes in love’s power to bring happiness and make life beautiful. She says that when love is inside us, even big troubles seem small. Dadi encourages Lakshmi to recognize this love in her life, not just the selfless love she feels for Rohan and Paro, but also other forms of love that come with hopes and dreams. She reflects on what will happen when Paro gets married and leaves, and expresses that if Rishi wasn’t a good father and life partner, she wouldn’t have suggested giving him a chance. Dadi hopes that Lakshmi will start a new chapter in her life with Bappa’s blessings.

In the asylum, the doctor reprimands the guards again for their treatment of Balwinder. She argues that he is not a criminal and questions their animosity towards him. She asks them to open Balwinder’s room, but when they do, they find the wall broken and Balwinder missing. The doctor is shocked by the news.

At home, Aanchal is busy with the preparations for Ganapati Bappa’s arrival. She instructs Mukesh to place modaks (sweet treats) in boxes. The Pandit Ji arrives and explains that he was sent by Guru Ji, who was late, to oversee the arrangements. Karishma welcomes him. Dadi asks if anyone has called Rishi, and Karishma confirms that he is on his way. Suddenly, Dadi slips on a carpet, and Lakshmi catches her. Karishma and Aanchal rush over to help. They assist Dadi to the sofa, and Karishma scolds Mukesh for the carpet being on the stairs. Lakshmi intervenes, reminding Karishma that today is a festival and not to spoil it with scolding. Dadi praises Lakshmi for her understanding. Karishma, annoyed by Dadi’s favor towards Lakshmi, fumes silently.

Karishma notices a phone call from the mental asylum on Malishka’s phone and answers it. The doctor on the other end inquires about Malishka. Karishma, pretending to be Malishka, says she is speaking with the house help. The doctor informs her that Balwinder has escaped from the asylum and advises her to be cautious. Karishma pretends to be concerned and ends the call, secretly pleased that Balwinder is coming for Lakshmi, not Malishka.
